This is my last full week with Lillie at home. Next week she is going to daycare for some half days so that Justin and I can get our morning routine down before I go back to work on the 19th. To make this week special, I've declared it Mommy and Lillie week! We are going to spend as much time together as possible. (Ha, yes, even more time that we already spend together...how is that even possible?) We are doing fun stuff every day, getting out of the house, and seeing the world as much as possible. No chores, no cleaning, all fun.
Yesterday we went to Lewisville. First stop, Garden Ridge. Mommy needed a new rug for the living room. I told Lillie how cool that place was, she just said "Meh, doubt it."
While we were shopping, an alligator tried to eat Lillie!

I saved her though. I told her she owed me for her life times 2. I brought her into this world AND I saved her from being eaten alive. Things we do as mothers...
After I found the most fabulous rug ever, we headed to Target. I'm gonna have to keep my eye on Lillie when we go shopping. I turned around for just a second and came back to this...

She said "Mommy, I heard you tell Nana before I was born that you wanted sunshine in my life." "Yes, Lillie Rhea. I did. But I was talking about your room, not your clothes. Besides, those shoes are way to big for you. I love your style though. Looks just like Mommy. Now go put all that back where you got it."
She was a good girl and put it all away, but came back with this...

Oh Lord. The girl's gonna have a shoe problem just like her mama.

Too funny! Justin, you better get ready to add on the house...if Lillie LOVES shoes like her mama, you're in trouble! But then again, can a girl ever really have too many shoes???
