Lillie is 6 Weeks Old on her Due Date!

We're about 2 weeks late, but here is Lillie at 1 month old on December 27th.  She has grown so much!

 

 

Today, January 9th, was her actual due date.  Crazy to think that she is 6 weeks old already!  Here's our cutie today...

 

 

 

 She now weighs 7 pounds 6 ounces! 

 

In these past 6 weeks we have learned:

• Our girl knows her barn yard animals.  She makes duck and horse sounds all the time.
• She already has a mischevious grin that makes you think she's got something up her sleeve.
• But she's got the sweetest smile.
• She'll try to poop on ya without any warning.
• She's a night owl just like her mama and daddy used to be.
• She doesn't like to be swaddled because she has to have her arms free to move them around.  It makes her so mad to be constrained.
• She's fiesty, impatient, and has a temper, but we believe that it's that spirit that has cause her to do so well.

We are still waiting for my insurance to approve the Synagis shot that will help her fight against RSV.  For all of you that are still waiting to meet Lillie, thanks so much for understanding our situation.  We know that pictures aren't the same as seeing our sweet girl in person, but hopefully soon she can say hello to you!
