Lillie is 3 weeks old!

And she is so ready to celebrate Christmas!

Lillie is 3 weeks old! Here is the first of many Christmas pictures that will be taken over the next week. She had an appoitment with the doctor on Monday and she weighed 5.9 lbs and was just over 19 inches long! We had to get her picture in this sleep-n-play. It's a preemie and I think she just might out grow it before Christmas!

I haven't updated here in a very long time...it's been too busy around the Harmon House with feedings, baby gazing, doctors appointments and gearing up for Christmas.

We were able to take Lillie home on December 5th.  We dressed her in the snazziest of dresses.  It was a big day and she wanted to look her best!

Here are 2 of the most amazing nurses that took care of her while she was in the NICU.  They were so great and really treated Lillie like a princess.  They also taught Justin and I a lot too.  We were so grateful to have them!

Many of you might be wondering where her name, Lillie Rhea, came from.  We just liked the name Lillie.  It had been a secret favorite of ours for a long time.  But "Rhea" is a family name.  My mama's name is Dena Rhea and my youngest sister's name is Johnna Rhea.  Here's all the Rhea's together! (minus me-my middle name is Ashley, but I had to hold her for the pic!)

See that necklace?  I love it.  I made it just before Lillie was born and maybe wore it once. Then, it didn't mean anything.  It was just a necklace. But when I got home from the hospital, I saw it and instantly thought of Lillie.  I put it on and it made me feel like she was with me even though she had to stay in the NICU for a week.  I haven't taken it off since I put it on.  You can't see it very well but there is a little silver bird pendant under that pearl that reminds me of my Little Bird.  I guess it's appropriate since her mama's j-bird.

I'll try to do better to update more often.  I think it'll be easier after the holidays.  We'll have first Christmas pictures and stories to tell and I still need to show off the nursery.  But that room is a mess and has crap thrown every where so it'll be a while before that reveal takes place!  Ha Ha.
