We've Got Trouble in Our Future

During my last prenatal appointment, I got a quick glimpse into our baby's personality.  My midwife had a hard time finding Baby at first.  She had to mash on my belly to get him into the right position.  I was thinking, "Oh, she's so shy!"  We heard the heartbeat and everything sounded great, then I heard a loud "boom!"  I looked at the midwife and she was jut giggling.  Heartbeat was still going strong and then a second "boom!"  I looked at the midwife again-I had no idea what was going on!  She said "Oh my!"  I got a little nervous, but felt better when I heard the heartbeat a 3rd time...then another "boom!"  The midwife cried out "Oh my goodness!  You've got a feisty one in there!"  Ha ha ha, Baby's already taking after her mama.  I don't know if that is a good thing, or a bad thing.  And I don't think Baby is really shy either.  I think he was hiding from the midwife because he wanted to be left alone!

We find out what we are having this afternoon and we are so excited!  It has felt like Christmas at the Harmon House for about 2 weeks now =)  We are just going to soak up all the happiness tonight making the announcement to our family, but I'll be sure to update all of you tomorrow, first thing!
