It's been a while since I've had the chance to update everyone on us Harmons, so let's play catch up!
Lillie is growing like a weed! Her personality is really starting to come through. She's happy like her daddy with a dash of her mama's sassiness. Pretty good mix if you ask me!

Lillie's first teeth broke through a couple of weeks ago. The front bottom ones are coming in. It looks like they grow in more every day. You can't really see them yet in pictures, but as soon as you can, I'll be sure to get one up.
Lillie is 6 1/2 months now! By the way, I don't think she grew 2 inches in a month-we had to have measured wrong.
Not crawling yet, but she so wants to. She can sit up on her own for a few minutes at a time, but we really have to watch her because she just doesn't have her balance quite down yet. Every day she just gets prettier.

In the last 3 months, Lillie has been eating more solids. She started off with cereal, then we mixed a few fruits in and now we are trying a new food every 3 days. Her first veggie was carrots. She didn't know quite what to think about those. She had her fill and then gagged on them but the poor girl kept trying to eat them. She knew they were good for her ;) She really likes avocados-she told me the other day she's ready for taco's. All in good time Lillie girl.

It was our year to celebrate Easter with my family so we headed down to Corsicana. The Easter Bunny found Lillie at Nana and Big Papa's house. He brought her a hat, 2 bunnies, headbands, socks and a book! We went to church with my grandma and it was nice to see some old family friends. I haven't had the chance to show her off to many of my hometown folks. Lillie still hasn't met most of the family on my side yet :-(

We went to a few of Aunt Bill's last games during the spring. Lillie took her first road trip to Arkansas to watch Aunt Bill in her conference tournament. She loves ball so much that she's ready to play, but I told her that she had to learn to walk first. She'll be ready to learn to throw in no time. I wonder if she'll be a pitcher like her aunts?

My first mother's day was spent with a weekend at my mama's house. We went to the air show and saw some really cool planes. Lillie was excited to give me my gift. She gave me a Willow Tree figurine that had a secret, special meaning just between us and a sweet card. And Justin built me a pergola for my birthday/mothers day/anniversary present. It's so nice y'all. He did a great job!

Lillie loves playtime with her daddy. He bought her a set of blocks that she loves to hoard. I think we might have to teach her an early lesson on sharing. She surprises us everyday with something new she can do. I remember the first time she pulled that bird (bottom left picture) on her own to make the music play while laying on her back. I'm pretty sure that was just a month ago. Now she's sitting up pressing buttons with her fingers and turning the pages of books when you read to her.

The past 6 months have been good to the Harmon family. Lillie has grown so much. Just look how much she has grown compared to my hands in the picture. From 4 lbs 11 ounces to 13 lbs 11 ounces, we are so lucky that our girl has done so well. And we can't take any of the credit. Lillie has shown us from the day that she was born that she is strong and has a lot of determination.
